The centre of gravity shifting makes this surprisingly realistic now. Even now we've discovered a giant pro sauropod with a presumably upright posture- possibly weighing in the 12-15 tonne region- of course, birds have hollowed bones so they have even more potentials I guess. And given this animal is like a Moa, only more upright, this offers more still to the equation.
